A machine and an operator. One call, one price.

We're not a hire yard. Every machine goes out with an operator who knows it, that's the whole business. A number of our excavators run iDig 2D laser level control, so footings, falls and finished levels are cut accurately first time.

And because our group includes Hay & Co, our design and construction arm delivering landscapes and external works for country houses and estates across the South of England, the standard of finish is set by people who understand the whole construction process and the importance of a solid foundation.

Who we work for

For the trade: builders, groundworkers, landscapers and main contractors use us for machine-and-operator cover, from a day's gap to full-duration bookings. RAMS, NPORS tickets and insurance certificates before day one - see plant hire for contractors.

For everyone else: homeowners with bigger projects who want one competent outfit, self-builders working to the engineer's drawing, and farmers and estates needing drainage, tracks, gateways and handling, insured with NFU Mutual like most of our farming customers.

Within roughly 50 miles of Andover: all of Hampshire and Wiltshire, most of Berkshire, and into Surrey, Dorset and Oxfordshire — including Andover, Winchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Marlborough and the Test Valley.
